Well guys, that's nearly it over for another year, it will soon be easter and the eggs will be in the shops! We actually got some snow tonight, it was only 4 days late, but it was enough for meg to get her sledge out in the garden.

getting set for a wee trip to accrington on the train. need to remember to pack spare drawers and socks this time cos when i went to cellardyke i found i had to keep washing the same ones!

wee meg finishes nursery on thursday, but won't be here next weekend as she is going to a birthday party and i won't see her till i come back from a trip to ayr with a friend from bingo the following week.

i am missing her already and she's still asleep upstairs.

no doubt by the time i get back the grass will be in need of a cut again, i tackled it the previous week with a big help from my neighbour and his petrol strimmer!

i'll let youz know how the trip goes.

back fae holiday in fife, got a bit of the sun at least, and a pile of junk mail waitin, both email and the stuff that comes thru the letterbox.

been nice weather for a holiday weekend, so had the wean out on her bike and down at the swing park.

don't know where everyone was, only three boys were playing then left so we had place to ourselves.

went to my work tonight and when i got finished, noticed some bikes stuck at back of yard which must have come in wi the skips.

one was a full suspension number, the other a bmx, so home they went wi me and i'm gonna sit outside wi ma cuppa and service them, so i hopefully will have a couple of sets of new wheels to cruise the streets wi this summer!

lookin forward to my wee date on tues, prob go for a walk in the park (trip in the dark etc) instead of the bingo run, make a nice change.

been at home tonite, wean's in her bed and i'm busy compressing files on pc cos it's full wi all my music files.

been a wet evening and mate james phoned up to say he was goin to the dancin prob to get himsel a lumber! wanted me to go, but said maybe next week, usually go out a wed nite.

got a hot date on tues if i can get off work. a lassie on the friendsreuniteddating website fae just down the road. will be nice to have a chat and a meal or drink, instead of sitting bored or worse, takin a handful of folk tae the bingo on the coach!

had a wee break fae this computer and had the wean over at the weekend. it was sum weather with hailstones ans a flash of lightning and thunder thrown in. brightened up on sunday and we got to the big park near coatbridge which has lots of stuff, proper swings and chutes that we don't have locally.

had been to the dentist on thurs to get a filling, mair sore than usual, esp as i just get the work done wifout a jag, cos i hate that big big needle! come sat night it got really painful again so mon afternoon was down there expecting the worst, but it didn't hav to come out, just got sum pills which seem to have sorted it out!

got a run to ayr wi the coach on thurs, i never like goin these runs at 9 in the morning cos i am still usually enjoyin ma beauty sleep lol, and it's a load of screamin weans. och i'm sure they'll all sit quiet.

it's a case of eyes like dug's baws tonight after bein up late and working this evening. don't usually do a sunday, but as they say in tesco's, 'every little helps'.

givin the pc a rest for a few nights but will use the one in my local library to update youse wi some more riviting goss.....zzzzz!

that book list is full of stuff fae my schooldays, most of wot i read now is practical, factual stuff but this gives me an excuse to go thru ma bookshelves and have a wee flashback!

it's that time of the nite again. way too late, i hate wen it starts getting lite, look forward to long winter nites, if only it would be lite till 10pm and dark till 8am.....
